Boarding, Riding lessons and Sale horses are offered at Oakbourne.  Limited Training stalls are also available. Please review our services below and contact us for further information or with questions regarding what we offer.

BOARDING
Currently Oakbourne only offers full board to clients.  We take pride in what our facility has to offer.  Full board includes the following:

  • 12x12, 13x13, OR 12x15 stall mucked daily
-shavings are used as bedding
  • Daily turn-out in one of our paddocks, weather permitting
-Private, Semi-private and small group turnout
available
  • Daily blanket changes during winter months if needed and application of boots anytime
  • Routine scheduling of Farrier, Vet and Denist
-Emergency Services are also provided
  • Routine worming schedule
  • On-site ownership and management for piece of mind
  • Quality Timothy, Grass & Alfalfa hay
  • Quality feeds - we offer three (3) different types of grain fed individually or a combination
  • Daily night checks


2010 Rates:

12 x 12 stall:$550.00  --- currently full
13 x 13 stall:$600.00  --- currently full
12 x 15 stall:$650.00  --- currently full
LESSONS
  • Private or semi-private lessons available
  • Ride on your own horse or use one of our seasoned school masters
  • Lessons tailored to suit the rider and horse's ability
  • Lessons for ages 6 and up
  • Beginners thru advanced riders will benefit from each lesson


2010 Rates:

Private Lesson: $45.00
Semi-Private lesson: $40.00

Private lessons run 30-45 minutes in length. Placing a time limit on a lesson is difficult as each lesson we try to accomplish our goals! Group lessons run about 1 hour in length. Lessons run Sunday-Friday with flexible time scheduling. Please contact us for further information!
TRAINING
Training board includes all of the care of full board plus training rides 3-4 days a week by a professional. We work with the owner to come up with goals to accomplish with each ride and keep the owner updated on the progress we make.

Training board is also offered to our sale horses. Clients are welcome to send us horses for sale which we keep in continued work and promote the horse. We happily set up appointments and show the horse to potential clients. Again, OEC works with the owner in coming up with a plan to sell the horse and how to find the horse a great home!
